The Wildfowler is set at the foot of the rolling mountains that leap from the beautiful Dovey Estuary. The estuary is a haven for walkers, fisherman and birdwatchers alike and attracts many visitors all through the year to see the wide variety of wildlife, which inhabits the sprawling estuary area.

The Wildfowler is a traditional style pub that has kept up to date with recent times while still staying true to its historic origins. Some of the pubs frequent drinkers can even remember the beer being delivered by horse and cart.

The Wildfowler attracts many families due to its superb facilities and its tempting children's menu. The families tend to be either from the local towns and villages or holidaymakers enjoying a break in West Wales. The holiday centres of Aberystwyth, Borth and Aberdovey are all in short driving distance or a longer hunger-inducing walk making the Wildfowler a well located pub for all.
